Dear Panthers,


It has been a pleasure working with you this year. I am saddened to leave my "little" room 6 panthers. It has been fun seeing you grow and develop into big 3rd and 4th graders. It has been amazing to see such an improvement in your writing, reading, math and english. You have also learned ways to communicate that you did not know at the beginning of the year. It has been awesome seeing all these changes and more! I can't wait to see what path life takes you on as you grow older. Remember that you can achieve anything you put your mind to. Keep in touch with me, and I will always remember Leggett and return to visit. I especially can not wait for you to meet my daughter, who probably recognizes your voices as I am around you so much! Remember you were the first children to know her. :o)

5/18/2012 Dear Panther Parents, Can you believe we have almost completed the school year? For me this is bittersweet. I am very impressed with the progress all of my students have made, especially in reading. However I do not want the school year to end. I can hardly believe I’ve known your students for over 160 days. I have really enjoyed getting to know them and you. I am also eager for our end of the year activities which include our overnight party (May 24th), our trip to the aviation museum (May 31st) and the spring fling (with another lip sync)! Below are some end of the year requests as I wish to leave some of our fundraising money for the new teacher who arrives in the Fall. Students will be bringing home their last homework packets so they will be bulkier than the others. Please have them pace themselves (a couple pages a night is a good idea). Summer Trip by Simon

Last Summer my Mom and DAD took me and Alexis to Disneyland. The weather is very blue.
Vampire northern Disneyland has many cats and red moomooheads there. Many people go to Disney World to walk or see the tigers. Also the people who live there like to eat Julie's. and they are proud of their big turkey. They also like to butt punch in the sun and swim in the kick. It was a really red trip.

Trip to the Park by Daniela

Yesterday, nobody and I went to the park.
On our way to the muddy park we saw a dumb city on a bike. We also saw a stupid balloon tied to a lily. Once we got to the fart park the sky turned cool. It started to walk and act. Jade and I sung all the way home. Tomorrow we will try to go to the butt show park again and hope it doesn't run.

SUMMER TRIP BY SKYLER

LAST SUMMER, MY MOM AND DAD TOOK ME AND NOVALIY ON A TRIP TO WATER FALL PARK. THE WEATHER THERE IS VERY PRETTY! NORTHERN WATER FALL PARK HAS MANY SKYLER'S, AND THEY MAKE FUNNY SMILES THERE. MANY PEOPLE GO TO THE PARK TO PUNCH OR SEE THE RUNNING. THE PEOPLE THAT LIVE THERE LOVE TO EAT NOODLES AND ARE VERY PROUD OF THEIR BIG CANS AND ARE VERY PROUD OF THEIR BIG AMIES. THEY ALSO LIKE TO SHOUT IN THE SUN AND SWIM IN THE JELLO! IT WAS A REALLY FUN TRIP!

Last summer, my mom and dad took me and Alexis on a trip to the factory. The weather there is very boring. The Northern Factory has
many machines and they make bad smelling food there. Many people go to the beach to swim or see the seagull. The people there loved to eat turkey and are very proud of their big statue. They also like to Jump in the sun and swim in the giant soda can. It was a very fun trip.

Once we got to the stupid park the sky turned pretty. It started to run and walk. Dad and I crawled all the way home. Tomorrow we will try to go to the angry park again and hope it doesn't kick.

ON OUR WAY TO THE COOL PARK,WE SAW A COOL KID ON A BIKE. WE AISO SAW BIG TALL BALLOONS TIED TO A TREE. ONCE WE GOT TO THE COOL PARK, THE SKY TURNED ROUND. IT STARTED TO TURN AND TURN. MOM AND I WENT ALL THE WAY HOME. TOMORROW WE WILL TRY TO GO TO THE WARM PARK AGAIN AND I HOPE IT DOESN'T KICK.
